Tuesday night, a group of MyEasternShoreWedding.com vendors came together at the picturesque Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum to enjoy a little R&R, “meet and greet” and spend a lazy summer evening having a good time being the guests for a change.
I have always believed that we all benefit from knowing each other, sharing “war” stories and recognizing that nourishing a strong network of Eastern Shore wedding vendors is not only in everyone’s best interest, but also the key to our success.
Businesses thrive when we all connect. Brides tell me all the time how wonderful their vendors were- how much they loved working with them all, how creative they were and how they often want to keep connected even after their wedding. Of course, I already know what a talented group we have here on the Shore! I am amazed at how many have embraced the opportunity to support their fellow business people, after all, no one can do every Eastern Shore wedding! I believe these referral relationships are the heart of building the value of our local wedding industry!
For me, it was pure joy to have so many vendors together at one time! I was honored to be able to say “thank you” for making our website one of the best of its kind in the US. So, if I have to plan a party in order to do so, I’m all in! So many special vendors helped to make our soirée a treat. I’d like to give a “shout out” to Heather, Willie and Kathy from Ebb Tide Tents, who let us use some of their high top tables and their whiskey barrel bar, to Kari Rider Events for designing the overall party plan and making it run smoothly, to Ida Heelan and the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum whose fabulous small boat shed gave us the best backgrounds and views we could want, to Seaberry Farms for sweet Mason jar arrangements and to Joe Petro at Hair O’ the Dog Wine and Spirits for his tasty wine selection. Please know how much I appreciate your collective generosity in making our evening perfect!
Cheers!
