Born and raised on the Eastern Shore, Gena left the Shore and attended culinary school in Baltimore. After school, she worked for years in fine dining restaurants in Maryland and later New Orleans where she met her husband, Dave. After they married, Gena and Dave returned to the Shore and bought Bay Country Bakery in Cambridge. They soon found there niche, specializing in wedding cakes! They enjoy meeting and working with clients to design unique and personal sweets for their special day.
