“My husband and I had a small elopement ceremony, with about a dozen family members in attendance. We chose Brampton because of its history and charm- what a beautiful piece of property!! We booked and worked mostly with Stephanie and she was absolutely incredible. She made planning so effortless and was always a step a head. The whole team was great and we really felt like family! The all inclusive elopement package was classy and intimate. Our wedding was absolutely perfect- I wouldn’t change a single thing. We can’t wait to go back for out anniversary!”

“We are local and chose Brampton Inn. We had our wedding there and then enjoyed 3 more days as a guest in one of their cottages. The grounds are amazing. We know it’s right around the corner and we will be back! Absolutely recommend this gem.”

“As always, this place is the ultimate in B&B experiences. We had our wedding here 5 years ago, which was phenomenal to say the least, and returned this last weekend for our 5th anniversary! The hospitality was amazing and we loved every minute of our stay. We are definitely hoping to make it back here again soon. Kuddos!”

“Had our wedding at the Brampton Inn this past weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better experience, especially during a pandemic. We rented all 7 rooms (outside cottages excluded) which I would highly recommend as it seemed to make the experience even more intimate for my husband/me and my guests. The rooms were just as expected from an historic inn….the Yellow and Blue rooms were my favorites, so bright and sunny. And Covid protocols of cleanliness were maintained to make us feel our guests were safe and secure. The wrap around porch, complete with wicker furniture and porch swings, were made for daytime socializing with guests. And the fire pit, stocked and ready to light made night time gatherings during crisp fall evenings just perfect! The Innkeepers, Dave and Hilary couldn’t have been more personable and accommodating. Their staff was gracious and warm. You have no idea how touched I was the morning of our wedding to see their grounds keeper giving the wedding arbor a final cleaning, and decorating it simply with flowers from their garden. How unexpected, and appreciated. Oh, and not to be forgotten, Squeaky the (black) cat who is their greeter extraordinaire. If she wasn’t such a grand part of the experience (and so well taken care of and loved) I’d have packed her up in my suitcase and taken her home!! The food for breakfast, our wedding brunch, and tea was amazing…bravo to both the chef and pastry chef. If you have a sweet tooth do not miss the croissant bread pudding (on the wedding brunch menu), or the sun-dried tomato roulade. Or the lemon blueberry pound cake at tea. My then boyfriend, now husband and I stayed last August and were served heirloom salsa at tea time, straight from their garden, and everything peach for the season (peach muffins, peach pie). The wedding cake was adorable and the Italian buttercream perfectly not-too-sweet. No one will walk away hungry nor without the thought of what they’d like served again at their next visit. And finally a shout-out to Chestertown itself…a undiscovered gem. Liberal, creative, it’s a place you long to live. Don’t miss the shop “Create” as a place to find that one treasure you must purchase to remember your trip to this lovely place, or the 2nd hand bookstore, Book Plate (also complete with black cat). What can I say Brampton Inn….see you for our first anniversary…if we can wait that long!”

“We had to completely replan our wedding since it got cancelled at the last minute at a different location and luckily I found Brampton Inn for our new wedding. We had a 14 guest brunch wedding and stayed a total of 2 nights. Danielle was so helpful in answering whatever questions we had about our big day and was such a helpful resource. It brought me so much peace of mind especially during such stressful times. The actual wedding day went so smoothly, everyone at the inn knows what they’re doing. The food was amazing for both our breakfast that was delivered to our cottage as well as the food provided for our brunch. The photographer was very knowledgeable about the inn’s best photo locations and was a pleasure to work with. I also want to extend my thanks to the florist used by the inn for creating the most beautiful bouquet. It was what I asked for and then some! We also really appreciated how serious they were taking the pandemic and had safety precautions in place such as requiring everyone to wear masks in shared spaces and having staff where masks at all times. The accommodations were also very comfortable. We stayed at the Russell cottage with its own thermostat and it smelled incredible when we arrived. My husband and I also loved the little gated garden attached to the cottage. Overall the stay and celebration were more than we could have asked for. Danielle and everyone working with Brampton Bed and breakfast were very accommodating and worked together to provide a perfect experience. I recommend staying here and would definitely visit again in the future. Thanks all!”
