I think it’s incredible when a bride and groom decide to really infuse their passions and personalities into their wedding day! This equestrian wedding at The Winery at Elk Manor is the perfect example of adhering to a theme while keeping your decor pretty and elegant. From the show ribbon table numbers, to the horseshoe centerpieces, Kristen and Paul made the day truly their own. See all the pretty captured by Bombs Over Betty Photography below!
From the bride: What was my favorite part of our wedding day? It’s hard to pick just one thing when the entire day was beyond perfect! After all, I was marrying my best friend while surrounded by my family and friends. We were married outside at The Winery at Elk Manor, overlooking the gorgeous Chesapeake Bay on an absolutely perfect day. What truly made our day so special was how intimate and personal it all was. My husband even constructed the arbor we were married beneath!
We sprinkled hints of our equestrian wedding theme wherever possible. My dad repurposed my childhood model horse barn into our card holder and we included memorabilia of loved ones who have passed. And I will always appreciate the time and effort my mom, grandmother, and aunt put into the aesthetics of the reception. We also had an amazing group of vendors who made the day absolutely flawless.
People say their wedding day is over in a blink of an eye, but I believe it has to have been the longest day of my life. All of our preparation, planning, and organizing allowed me to really slow down and let it sink in what a special day it was. I love how we will be able to look back on our wedding day and be reminded of how much love we felt!
