The Dreamiest Maritime-Inspired Wedding

January 24, 2018

We can’t even pick a favorite “something blue” from Lindsay & TJ’s Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum wedding! From the mix & match bridesmaid dresses to the floral patterned tablescapes, we’re loving every detail pulled together by Kari Rider Events. Nothing beats this classic palette with stunning waterfront views!

From Kari Rider EventsCoastal meets garden was the name of the game for Lindsay and TJ’s waterfront Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum wedding. The couple—who met in grade school when fifth-grade TJ would pass love letters to eighth-grade Lindsay at recess!—wanted a relaxed celebration near Lindsay’s family’s second home in St. Michaels. Sticking with a blue and white palette, we used toile patterned king table linens and ginger jar vases to tie in a floral element to the classic coastal color scheme. Pops of navy blue in the bridesmaid dresses, escort display, and table numbers were an added nod to the waterfront venue—where gliding sailboats provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s portraits on Navy Point.
