Classic Neutrals Set the Tone for this Dreamy Beach Club Wedding

With a backdrop like the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, we love that Kristen and Joe opted for for this clean and classic look. The soft palette of neutrals and natural greens was the perfect compliment to the sandy shores of the Beach Club. Check out this dreamy gallery from Kristen Gardner Photography!

From the bride: Our color palette was grey, white, and calming greens. Our style was simply classic. Remembering my grandparents who had passed away was important to me. Wrapped in my bouquet was my paternal grandma’s blue rosary. The necklace that I wore was made from my maternal grandma’s ring. 

My favorite moment from the whole day was turning the corner to walk down the isle and seeing Joe standing at the alter. Seeing him waiting for me at the end of the isle was the best feeling! At that moment, all the time and planning put into preparing for the wedding was totally worth it. I would soon be married to the love of my life!

I would tell brides-to-be to keep it simple. You don’t need to spend a lot of money or have a lot of decorations to have a beautiful wedding. I was able to re purpose frames I already had and use them in various places at the reception. My mom found the exact number of plate charges that I needed at a thrift store and we spray painted them to go with our colors. Sometimes less is more.

My other piece of advice would be to find a few minutes during the day when it is just you and your husband. Joe and I found a few minutes right before the cocktail hour started to be with one another without anyone else around. It was nice to have this time to just sit together and take it all in. The day flies by!
