Couples love having family and friends with them on their wedding day. But why limit your celebration to only one day? Why not consider an entire “wedding weekend” when making your plans?
Jodi and Alon came across the bridge from Washington, D.C. the weekend of November 2, 2013. Having booked the St. Michaels Harbour Inn Marina and Spa exclusively, they were able to make it their own with personal touches ranging from changing the fabric on the Inn’s cushions (reflecting their wedding colors), to welcome packages awaiting each Inn guest, to an intimate wedding ceremony on the dock overlooking the Miles River. Jodi was so happy with her wedding, she wrote:
“Our wedding weekend at the Harbour Inn was perfect beyond our imagination. There are a few highlights that have left lasting impressions with me aside from sharing the entire weekend with our family and friends. The Inn’s staff, especially Dolores Jones, blew us away. Since I’ve worked in the hospitality industry, I know relationships are extremely important to clients. I feel like I can tell if someone is sincere and truly cares about my experience. Dolores and the entire staff at the Harbour Inn exceeded our expectations the whole weekend- for my husband and I, as well as for our families. Having booked the Inn exclusively, we had the property all to ourselves, which was a real treat. We wanted a weekend full of casual celebration, lots of great food (Chef David is amazing!), drinks and mingling. We got exactly that! A crab feast, a blue grass band, corn hole, beautiful views of the water from the deck outside…Friday night was perfect! We had the most amazing weather on Saturday, followed by a few drizzles to dance me down the dock to my soon-to-be husband. The heaters were barely necessary and we partied the night away under the stars, by the water—just what we dreamed about! All in all, the memories we made will be with us forever. And The Harbour Inn will be an amazing part of them.”
