Tristen & Todd’s Worsell Manor Wedding

January 1, 2015

We’ve said goodbye to 2014 and all of the beautiful weddings that it’s brought us, and couldn’t be more excited for what 2015 has in store for our brides! What better way to kick off the year than with this stunning fall wedding that we’ve been SO anxious to show off. Jillian Hughes from Bombs Over Betty Photography so perfectly captured this incredible and love-filled day. With Worsell Manor providing the ultimate rustic backdrop, and mouthwatering farm-to-table dishes provided by Magnolia Caterers, Tristen & Todd’s nuptials perfectly define some of our favorite parts of a truly Eastern Shore wedding.

From the photographer:

Of all of my 2014 weddings, I can safely say that Tristen and Todd’s was the most colorful. It was full of amazing people with gorgeous tattoos, beautiful ladies in stunning dresses and dapper men all located at a tastefully rustic location in Warwick, MD. Being lucky enough to be a part of their special day is something for which I am eternally grateful.

The scene was the beautiful Worsell Manor, once a favorite stopping place for George Washington. The manor is set amongst sprawling fields and has a gorgeous barn. The venue was decorated with fragrant white flowers, glowing lanterns and softly lit string bulbs.

The pair opted to do a “first-look” prior to the ceremony and I was so moved by their emotional response that I couldn’t contain my own tears while shooting… it’s true, even though I photograph weddings for a living I still tear up! One of my favorite moments from the day was a quiet one from their first-look. Up until then, Todd had expected that Tristen would be keeping her last name. She then showed him a handkerchief she had sewn with her new initials. It was overwhelmingly beautiful. There wasn’t a dry eye in sight. It was one of the highlights of 2014 for me.

The pair shared so many wonderful moments, happy tears and smiles. The wedding was full of fun and included so many enthusiastic guests from all over the world. The catering was provided by Magnolia catering and presentation was top notch! Congratulations again Tristen and Todd, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your story.
