There’s always something so special about getting to see one of our MESW vendors tie the knot, and today we’re sharing some of the sweetest moments from the day Jenny (of Jennifer Madino Photography) became the bride! This babe took a turn on the other side of the lens, and Karena Dixon Photography was there to capture every darling detail.
From the bride, Jennifer Madino: Cody and I met in a Music Reading class in high school when I was a freshman and he was a junior. We lost touch after that class but came back around through Facebook when I joined as a lead singer for a band he started. The band ended as we began, and music has continued to be a part of our life together.
Cody and I got engaged after 5 years together. He contacted Karena Dixon Photography and secretly they came up with a plan for a surprise proposal at the Talbot Historical Society Garden. I was shocked, and everything was photographed by Karena which was even more amazing!
We got married just over a year later in Cambridge at an up and coming venue, 447. We chose 447 after I’d done a few musical productions there and really enjoyed the character of the historic building. My family went above and beyond and did all the DIY decorating, including the floor-to-ceiling draping in the reception room. This decor was hidden from me and was a huge surprise, captured perfectly by our videographer, Cecile Storm.
We wanted a laid back planning process and I truly put my trust with my family, friends, and vendors to create beautiful results. I knew they would come up with amazing details and it allowed me to focus on our ceremony together.
