Today’s gorgeous styled shoot has us dazzled and daydreaming about spring and summer weddings to come! We love the simple white, satin gown that brings out the bride’s natural beauty, the custom blue suit and simple boutonniere on the groom, the soft and romantic floral color palette…really, we love it all. It’s going to be a great year for weddings, and this beautiful gallery is giving us all the inspiration we need to make our dazzling daydreams into reality!
From Alex Pare of Cherry Blossom Weddings and Events: We wanted to create a beautiful garden-style romantic wedding on the water. Inspired but by daily waterfront walks by the Bay, we aimed to create a beautiful wedding that also felt spacious and safe for guests. We think brides and groom will be interested in larger wedding spaces even after we get through these difficult COVID period so everyone feels comfortable while celebrating.
We love romance so this theme took the lead while adding in some preppy tones with a hint of nautical. With its natural tones, the wood table was a perfect start. Candlelight and quicksand roses, blush rice flower, white veronica and ranunculus all helped to create the romantic feel we were looking for with the flowers. Adding in tapered candles, gold flatware and gold hanging lanterns created an upscale and elegant feel. Napkins folded so lace showed on the left side, highlighting the beautiful menu card. Clear glassware and vases kept it all feeling very light, highlighting the other elements and the water view.
The invitation was designed in a chinoiserie direction with a coastal touch. All the elements in the suite were amazing including custom monogram, tri-folded menu cards with a pink ribbon and soft garden touches like the painted flowers and birds.
The attire was classic and elegant. The dress has a train that attached so depending on what she wanted, it could be more simple and elegant or dramatic with a longer, fuller train. The groom’s suite in blue just worked so well. Fitted but classic and preppy! The cake also reflected our theme. The coastal blue on part of the cake matched with white texture and garden flowers was just stunning.
The welcome basket was designed with Annapolis and the Eastern Shore of Maryland in mind. It included sea salt soap, oyster shells, snacks and matches from local artist Kim Hovell in a straw basket. We absolutely loved putting together this beautiful styled shoot!
