We chatted with Stephanie to hear all about SRS Events and what she has to offer as you plan your dream day.

Tell us a little bit about SRS Events.
– What made you decide to become an event coordinator? What is your favorite thing about coordinating weddings? –
I began SRS Events back in 2016! I was working in corporate events and desired more creativity and diveristy in my events, so I began SRS Events on a whim. I quickly booked a couple of weddings (producing my first wedding consisting of full planning in just ONE month after booking), and it took off from there! I love blending design with an impeccably planned to precision timeline and flow of events. There is nothing better than everyone’s joy and happiness on a wedding day and knowing you helped contribute to that moment, one they will forever remember.

– Are there any trends that you are expecting to see in the 2024 wedding season? –
Mismatched bridesmaid dresses will definitely continue, as well as silent, secret, and impromptu cake cuttings with a ceremonial cutting cake. I also expect to continue to see the shift towards online RSVPs over a mail-in card.

– What would you say are the top 3 things couples should consider when looking for a wedding coordinator/planner? –
1) Alignment with vision and budget: Make sure that your selected coordinator is within your own budget, but also willing and capable of working within that budget once they’re on board!
2) Number of weddings the planner takes on each season: This can impact your planner’s availability and turnaround time on communications.
3) A connection & good vibes between the clients and planner! Planning is stressful enough, make sure that you are choosing a coordinator that you mesh well with, so the experience can be as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

– What do you think is the best thing about the array of options that you can potentially offer a couple? –
I take on a very limited number of weddings, so it allows me to provide the utmost of attention to my couples and provide quick communication throughout the planning process. My focus is on you!

– Can you tell us an example of a problem that you solved for a wedding client? –
I had a client’s photographer say she could not shoot the wedding TWO days before! I was able to secure an amazing photographer for the couple who, by happenstance, had that Saturday available (she is normally booked out every weekend, it seems!) and she was flexible on her fee to meet what they originally spent on the first photographer. The day went off without a hitch!

– What is the most important thing you would like couples to know about your service? –
We truly pour our heart and souls into every, single wedding! We listen to our clients and create a design and flow of events perfect for them! Our utmost goal is to not only deliver a beautiful design full of details, but to provide a stress-free and truly perfect wedding day for our clients and their loved ones!
