Omgorgeous, do we have a wedding to share with you! Diana and Dave and their incredible team of vendors turned the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club into the most magical setting. And can we talk about this dress + veil combo? This gallery & video from Bowtie Photo and Ryan Geldermann has brought all of our wedding day dreams to life.
From the bride: When Dave and I got engaged, we started searching for wedding venues right away. Soon after, we came upon pictures from the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club that fit the theme we had in mind perfectly. Once we visited the venue, it was clear that it had everything we were looking for, we knew instantly that it was the perfect place to have our dream wedding. The ceremony would be overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, the reception room was very elegant, it had an extra room that could be used in case it rained, and there was an on-site Inn that had the feel of being rustic, yet modern and extravagant.
Dave enjoys woodworking as a hobby, and I love sparkle so we wanted to incorporate a little of both of us into every detail. We got most of our stationery ideas from Pinterest, Leia at Bay Imprint made those ideas all happen. She went above and beyond for us.
Sarah at Intrigue Designs was our floral designer; she had so many great ideas that made our vision a reality. There were gorgeous flowers everywhere and she even made a flower wall for our photo booth. We found our photo booth on MESW and Photomatic Photobooth was everything we had hoped, easy to work with, the guests were entertained, and the pictures turned out great!
As I was looking for a videographer, I came across one of Ryan Geldermann’s wedding videos. Dave and I both got chills watching how he was able to capture the day and turn it into something out of a movie! The morning after the wedding we received our short film and we were blown away.
Ryan recommended Zachary Glenn from Bowtie Photo as someone he likes to work with and that turned out to be an amazing recommendation. As you can see, Zack captured our favorite moments and provided us with a lifetime of beautiful memories. Zack also did our engagement pictures
The Beach Club provided us with a day of planner, Erin Janes; she was nothing short of perfect. We had worked with Erin from the beginning and she was simply wonderful. She was patient, answered all of our many questions, and personally handled the wedding rehearsal and wedding day to make sure everything was executed to perfection. She was everything a stressed bride-to-be needed.
We had our outdoor wedding the Sunday before Labor Day and were both worried about it being too hot or raining–especially with a hurricane barreling up the coast. However, it ended up being the most beautiful day and the temperature and weather were perfect! Surrounded by our family and friends, everything came together flawlessly and turned out to be the fairytale wedding we’ve always dreamed of.
