Simply Stunning Wedding at The Tidewater Inn

Speaking of simply stunning, Hayley and Maurice’s wedding at The Tidewater Inn blew us away. From her simple and elegant dress to the pup-themed cocktail hour, their wedding day was full of love, laughter, and so many gorgeous details. Mix in portraits with a sweet and cuddly Doodle, a perfect venue filled with friends and family, and the historic background of downtown Easton, Maryland, and we’re in heaven. From the bride, Hayley: Our wedding plans were thrown into total disarray when the pandemic took hold. There was a period of time where it was day-to-day about whether the wedding would occur on our long-awaited date or not and how we should handle communicating this to our guests. That degree of uncertainty (when added to the already tedious wedding planning process!) was emotionally taxing but we really tried to keep things in perspective about what was going on in the world and knowing that at the end of the day, wedding or not, we were really lucky to be healthy and safe. The dancing portion of the reception changed from indoor ballroom to outdoor tent due to COVID and honestly it was a blessing – so much fun! We loved seeing people so happy to be out and about for the first time in a very long time.
