“Most Memorable Wedding: Our family experienced the most pleasant stay and wedding reception at Kent Island Resort. The grounds of the property are lovely and well-maintained. My wife enjoyed the wide variety of flowers, especially the hydrangeas. It was relaxing to stroll out to the boat dock to observe to the jellyfish, and to play a few games at the horseshoe pit and bocce ball court. The rooms were remarkably quiet, despite all the wedding activity, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable (I usually don’t sleep well in hotels). The staff, especially residence manager Paul, were all very attentive to our needs and made us feel right at home. The same can be said of the wedding reception staff, who were top notch and gracious in performing their duties. My compliments to Chef Sam. Several in my party commented on the appetizers, particularly the crab cakes and fried oysters, and I savored the best sea bass entree I’ve ever tasted. There was an assortment of drinks to satisfy just about anybody’s taste, the Aperol spritz being popular with our group. Deserts were equally as good, with chocolate dipped cannoli and chocolate mousse as standouts. I recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or just exploring the Annapolis and Chesapeake Bay area.”
“Beautiful wedding venue! Kent Island Resort was the very first venue we toured, and we just knew it was where we wanted to get married. The Farmstead venue is absolutely stunning — the perfect mix of rustic charm and elegant details. The grounds are gorgeous and made for the most beautiful backdrop to our special day. The wait staff was incredibly efficient, and the bartenders were quick and made delicious drinks all night long. The chef was phenomenal — our guests could not stop talking about the food, especially the tater tot bar, which was a huge hit! A huge shoutout to our day-of coordinator, who was so helpful in keeping everything organized and stress- free. Overall, it was the best day ever, and we couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to get married!”
