“5 stars isn’t enough stars for Johnnie. Ten stars isn’t even enough, she was absolutely spectacular. Long story short, due to COVID, I got ghosted by my original coordinator and was straight up PANICKING 5 months out to my wedding day. Johnnie swooped in and completely saved my sanity: in less than a week, she had all of my vendors and a timeline for reaching out to them, put together my to-do list, recommended vendors for the pieces I was missing, and had already drafted an itinerary for the day. All the anxiety I was feeling leading up to the wedding was handled: I had an expert I could trust in my corner and it felt GREAT. Cut to day of: I didn’t expect to feel as calm and relaxed as I did, and I attribute a lot of that to Johnnie’s tireless work behind the scenes. She managed vendors, wrangled family members, kept the timeline moving, made sure the two of us ate (!!!), and made the day everything I ever dreamed of.”
“Johnnie went above and beyond for me: I had a shawl and a teacup of my grandmother’s that I wanted prominently displayed, but they didn’t get to the venue in time, so we didn’t get to use them the day of. Johnnie didn’t let me experience any disappointment about that: she managed to get my photographer at a different time and set up a special photoshoot to get the shawl incorporated into my wedding pictures. That was SO MEANINGFUL to me. Johnnie knew that and made sure it happened, come hell or high water. That tells me this isn’t just a job to Johnnie, this is a passion. She legitimately cares about her clients and that comes through so strongly in everything she does. I have nothing but good things to say about Johnnie. She’s incredible and an absolute gem.
