Chesapeake Blooms is a boutique floral studio, located in the heart of downtown Easton’s Historic District, known for its eco-friendly floral designs and sophisticated appeal. The proprietors, Samantha McCall and Dede Hoopes, have both trained at Longwood Gardens and beyond, and have vast experience in both floral design and horticulture.
In keeping with the environmental awareness and concerns of today’s brides, each bespoke event is uniquely created for the couple’s vision while honoring sustainability, both in the studio and the field. They grow and harvest many of their own flowers on their flower farm and use them whenever possible. They also enjoy foraging for unique natural elements that add unexpected and sometimes whimsical surprises to their floral designs. When they are not in the studio, they are most likely to be found working in their respective gardens or at a garden club meeting. Their combined love of flowers is palpable and they enjoy sharing their passion for nature while helping you bring your wedding vision to life at the same time.
Our brides have married at a number of choice locations on the Eastern Shore, including The Inn at Perry Cabin, The Hyatt Chesapeake Bay, The Tidewater Inn, The Oaks, Talbot Country Club, and Tred Avon Yacht Club – and as far away as the Anderson House in Washington, D.C. and the 21 Club in New York City. We have also flowered many private weddings and events around the Chesapeake Bay. Chesapeake Blooms caters to clients with a discriminating eye for detail and an appreciation for floral choices and design. We limit the number of weddings we do per year to give each client the full service and attention they deserve on their wedding day. We promise you our full attention and look forward to making your day special!
Beautifully designed. Responsibly sourced. Uniquely Chesapeake Blooms.
“Preparing for a wedding no matter how big or small is always anxious time for the bride. Your ability to listen and work with our ideas, offering suggestions, and adding your creative talents led to a spectacular floral display. When I walked into the room at Anderson House and saw your work displayed it took my breathe away. The room was a magical scene which was perfect for the venue.”
