Tell us a little bit about Bernadette Miller Art.
– What is your favorite thing about working in the wedding industry? –

I have been painting wedding venue portraits for years and love the reaction that the finished pieces brought to my clients. Painting live at weddings allows a more personalized, custom piece and I truly enjoy the joy that resonates with people at weddings. My favorite thing about working in the wedding industry is interacting with the people! Both the couple and the guests at the wedding.

– What’s your favorite trend lately? –

Pattered tablecloths and table decor make a gorgeous table scape painting!

– What do you think is the best thing about the array of options that you can potentially offer a couple? –

Everything from the size of the canvas to the subject matter is custom to the couples wishes. Since I used to workin the interior design industry, I like to talk to them about their decoration style so that their painting is not only an heirloom, but one that fit their aesthetic.

– What is the most important thing you would like couples to know about your service? –

I love to interact with the guests and welcome questions and observers – the painting process is something that they can enjoy watching throughout the day.

My journey with My Eastern Shore Wedding began back in my high school and college years as a creative intern, where I absolutely fell in love with the boundless creativity the wedding industry offers. Over the years, I moved into roles as a community manager and Media Director, and each position deepened my appreciation for the artistry and joy that weddings bring. Now, as the Owner and Editor in Chief, I feel so honored to keep celebrating the beauty of the Eastern Shore, both as my home and as a stunning wedding venue.
