We love all the personal details in this coastal-inspired wedding at Silver Swan Bayside in Stevensville, Maryland! Lauren and Larry found the waterfront venue that they had always dreamed of and we’re able to incorporate so many cute and coastal touches!
From the bride: “Larry and I met in college and have enjoyed countless adventures together since then. Both of us share a close relationship with our families and a true passion for the water. We spend most of our free time surfing, fishing and exploring new beaches. After being together for 7 years, Larry surprised me with a beautiful sunrise proposal. We were both so excited! We had the best time preparing for our special day and made sure to take the time to enjoy every moment as we planned.
As for the rest of the planning, we knew that we wanted a waterfront wedding with a location convenient for all of our family and friends. Silver Swan Bayside was the perfect choice! We cannot express how wonderful the entire staff at Silver Swan is! They were so happy to help us and made the entire planning process easy. I did not hire a wedding planner, because they were there to help me with everything we needed. They were also excited for all our ideas and let us bring in our surfboards to decorate, and park our vintage VW’ s outside to greet our guests! The same goes for all of our other vendors. I can’t say enough about Steve Moody and Julie Upchurch at Little House of Flowers. Working with them was like working with lifelong friends. I am still in touch with both of them.
The photographer we chose for our wedding is one of our best friends and has known both Larry and myself since college. We were so honored to have him there! RSB Photography has a true gift for capturing the perfect moment and it shows in all of his photographs. We love you Ryan!
All these sweet people came together and helped give Larry and myself the best day of our lives. We were able to enjoy everything that day and focus on what was truly important, our marriage.
