Katie and Jeff’s understated navy details added the perfect touch to the stunning backdrop that is St. Michaels Harbour Inn, Marina & Spa! Their vows on the port dock overlooked the beautiful St. Michaels Harbor, followed by a Maryland-style reception in the scenic Harbour Lights dining room. Their Eastern Shore soirée was nothing short of perfect for this sweet couple!
From the bride: When Jeff and I started planning our wedding, we had a handful of “must haves”–on the water in Maryland, good food, an intimate setting and our two dogs, Molly and Shannon, had to be allowed at the ceremony.
We struggled a bit to find the perfect place for us; and it didn’t make it any easier that we were planning the wedding from Colorado (where we currently live). But once we found the St. Michaels Harbour Inn Marina & Spa, everything fell into place! The staff was extremely accommodating and made sure the day went off without a hitch. Jeff and I got married on a deck overlooking the marina, which offered a really unique and peaceful backdrop for the entire evening. As beautiful as the views were, the food really stole the show at our wedding; we still get compliments on how great a meal we were able to serve our guests. The crab cakes were the best I’ve ever had!
At the end of the day, what I remember most is that our wedding was very “us”. Everything we had wanted, from our ceremony to the reception to our vendors, turned out just as we had hoped!
