If you’re already day dreaming about warmer weather and relaxing by the Bay, you’re definitely not alone. The ladies at MyEasternShoreWedding.com have been reminiscing about a few of our favorite seasonal eateries. At the top of our list? The Crab Claw!
The Crab Claw has been serving local crabs and other local delicacies since 1965 when they became a full-service restaurant. Today it’s a favorite event venue, specifically for rehearsal dinners. If you’re looking for a fun casual venue on the water, this is it!
Located in St. Michaels, The Crab Claw offers customizable menus ranging from a traditional crab feast, (complete with bibs and mallets), to a buffet-style variety of classic Eastern Shore-themed dishes like steamed shrimp and corn on the cob. Up to 110 guests can be seated at the picnic tables on their covered dock—if that’s not Eastern Shore style dining, we don’t know what is! The restaurant is easily accessible by boat, harbor shuttle, driving, or on foot. We think a scenic walk through the charming town is just the thing to work up an appetite!
The Crab Claw is closed for the season, but will be ready for business next month. Reservations can be made by phone at 410-745-2900. Call them to reserve your party for 2014!
