So how do you know where to spend the biggest day of your life? We sat down with Haven Harbour Managing Director, Charlie Petosa, to find out all that The Inn at Haven Harbour has to offer their guests to help make their dream day come true!
Tell us a little bit about the Inn at Haven Harbour.
– What is your favorite thing about hosting weddings at Haven Harbour? –
Haven Harbour Marina Resorts has two locations and twenty acres of beautiful waterfront spaces to create magical weddings and events. Our favorite thing about hosting weddings is the seeing the joy and amazement in our guests’ faces as their event comes to life right before their eyes.
– What would you say are the top 3 things couples should consider when looking for a venue? –
Does the venue have the ability to provide unique and magical experiences catered to your dream day? Yes, we do!
Is this venue a place where a couple can enjoy their time approaching, during, and after the wedding? Yes, it is!
Will the venue collaborate with a wedding coordinator to ensure every last detail is attended to to create your perfect day? Yes, we will!
– What do you think is the best thing about the array of options that you can potentially offer a couple? –
Our ability to offer highly customized and unique experiences is my favorite thing about what we offer, and what draws couples to Haven Harbour. We can offer everything from an intimate gazebo ceremony to a multi-faceted event that spans days and utilizes different venues around the resort, as well as custom yacht charters. If a couple wants a beautiful wedding and reception in front of the Inn, no problem. If a couple wants to have a wedding in front of the Inn and the reception at the tropical beach at Haven Harbour South, no problem. If a couple wants to boat from one location to another on a beautiful Hinckley yacht, no problem. We can offer so much magic through our resort, the only limits are a couple’s imagination.
– Can you tell us an example of a problem that you solved for a wedding client? –
Weather is always a cause of angst for a wedding. Last summer we had a large wedding which was planned to be outside under a tent. There was a heatwave which caused concern for some of the older guests. At the request of the bride and groom, we were able to move the wedding into our air conditioned Ark and Dove event space for an equally as romantic ceremony and reception that still included a beautiful waterfront view as well.
– What is the most important thing you would like couples to know about Haven Harbour? –
Several years ago a couple got married here at Haven Harbour who are big travelers and almost never visit the same place more than once. However, they still visit the Inn at Haven Harbour every year on their anniversary. Our guests feel that this is a place worth returning to again and again, and this is what couples who are considering Haven Harbour Marina Resorts as their venue can expect. They will have an enchanting events they will never forget, and may even find themselves regulars here in Rock Hall.
