– What is your favorite thing about working in the wedding industry? –
We love getting to know our couples and help them create a magical experience for their guests. We offer so many unique upgrades like on-site lodging, rounds of golf, and more that will be sure to delight all your guests (even if you don’t golf!). Our waterfront views and hospitable staff are just the icing on the [wedding] cake!
– What is your favorite wedding trend lately? –
Destinations! As a destination wedding venue we LOVE that our couples are making an entire weekend out of their wedding!
– Are there any trends that you are expecting to see in the upcoming wedding season? –
Lots of florals! Thanks to the gorgeous engagement and popularity of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, I suspect to see a ton of florals! In that same line – we’re predicting whimsical themes and estate style receptions.
– What would you say are the top 3 things couples should consider when looking for a wedding coordinator/planner? –
Make sure to keep your venue and your wedding planner (included in our wedding packages!) in the know. Consult with both of them BEFORE booking your vendors. Using a venue’s preferred vendors is the sure fire way to ensure your wedding vendor team works well together and all your vendors follow venue rules – but if you have someone in mind not on that list, just make sure your run it past your venue and planner to make sure everyone understands boundaries, expectations, and how to best work together. At Queenstown Harbor, your venue comes with all your basic rentals, dedicated wedding planner plus all food and alcohol are kept in house, meaning the 3 biggest parts of your wedding are already a great partnership! We help you create vendor teams that are in line with your vision and your budget. Make sure to keep your planner in the know – you hired them for a reason!

– What do you think is the best thing about the array of options that you can potentially offer a couple? –
We are an all-inclusive venue with onsite lodging, onsite catering and alcohol and options for the night before and the day after! Along with our larger packages, we know that some couples just want a small intimate or more affordable celebration – this is why we created our micro-wedding packages for up to 30 and our weekday elopement packages! The same all-inclusive service as our larger affairs with a more intimate vibe. Our weekday elopements are perfect for anyone looking for a beautiful waterfront setting on a budget. We take care of the flowers, cake, champagne, and overnight accommodations for the couple! Our on-site ULC officiant takes your prepared marriage license back to the courthouse for filing on your behalf plus you get Behind the scenes type photos – if you are looking for a photo or video upgrade, we help you secure that as well! For the larger celebrations, our couples LOVE our Toptracer Driving Range Welcome party option! After your waterfront ceremony rehearsal, you meet your guests at our Toptracer driving range for drinks, small bites and a few hours of fun before heading back to your cottage or bungalow for a restful night’s sleep before the big I Do! We really do have something for everyone that is one of a kind and unique to your love story!

We truly do our best to exceed your expectations within our limits. Our packages are made to create an enjoyable and stress free experience for you, and we strive to deliver above and beyond every time. We invite you out to tour our property, talk to our team about the endless options for your small elopement or large wedding weekend, and decide what type of celebration you want to have.
