Farm Wedding Goals: We’re Crushing on this Elegant Culture-Infused Wedding

May 1, 2018

If there was ever the perfect blend of rustic and elegance, this backyard St. Michaels wedding has it. Whitewashed wood and lush florals frame their waterfront farm views, and these high school sweethearts are just so very adorably in love!

From Kari Rider EventsIt was a true blending of cultures at Amy and Franco’s backyard wedding. With the bride’s family being British and the groom’s Mexican, Amy and Franco wanted to infuse both cultures into their celebration. So we incorporated handmade tablecloths from Mexico and a mariachi band at cocktail hour as a nod to the groom’s heritage, and, as a nod to the bride’s, the wedding was hosted at her parents’ second home outside of St. Michaels, complete with a real London phone booth! The bride and groom reside in Houston, Texas, where the bride is a zookeeper at the Houston Zoo and the groom works in his family’s business. To top it off, they’re high school sweethearts! They met at their senior prom. Read more from the bride over on Magnolia Rouge!
