Dusty blues and pops of sunset orange lead the design for this Chesapeake Bay-inspired wedding. We love how Karla and Adam incorporated the oysters & pearls into their decor and details–the perfect accessory to this waterfront backdrop. If that sounds like your cup of tea, wait until you see this groom’s boutonniere…
From Ami of Little Miss Lovely: Karla and Adam sealed the deal at Ocean Pines Yacht Club on the Eastern Shore of Maryland! The prettiest bold colors made up Karla’s bouquet with a small oyster and pearl charm to finish it off on the stems. Adam’s request was that his bout consist of a fishing lure, and absolutely love how it turned out.
Karla and Adam are one of those couples that just radiate love. Photographer, Leah Adkins Photography said, “I didn’t have to tell them to ‘pose this way or that’ because they were just killing it all by themselves.”
The bride and groom both grew up on the water so they wanted to incorporate their love for the Chesapeake in their wedding and they did just that. They had oysters at every place setting with each guests name hand lettered inside along with a pearl, and their invite suite incorporated a map of the Chesapeake and Virginia in the background.
