There’s just something about florals that always leaves us swooning and smiling. The creativity behind every arrangement, and the enchanting presence of a piece of nature knowing that each and every bud and stem is unique, makes floral design a truly incredible talent. We firmly believe that florals are the frame of a wedding day, and the team at J Starrs Flower Barn always delivers designs straight from a fairytale. As usual, J Starrs brought the magic to Lauren and Charlie’s Tilghman Island wedding day! With pops of greenery surrounding the white and blue blossoms, a floral altar to backdrop their sweet ceremony, and a variety of table florals ranging from whimsical bud vases to breathtaking statement designs, this celebration is serving serious floral goals for a classic and timeless Eastern Shore wedding. Not to mention, even Lauren’s dress has floral lace! What could be better!
From the Planner
A little bit of rain couldn’t keep Lauren and Charlie from having the best day of their lives. They were married on the waterfront at the Wylder Hotel, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Lauren and Charlie thoughtfully incorporated their love of a classic eastern shore color palette into their wedding day through dusty blues and lots of patterns. Each table at their reception had a different place setting, linen, and centerpiece combination giving the room a dynamic coastal feel. Their custom monogram was embroidered onto napkins at the head table, and Lauren had a special note added to Charlie’s napkin to show her love. After a heartfelt ceremony, Lauren swapped her veil for a custom bow created from leftover fabric from her wedding dress and started the party! A delicious cake cutting, a late night photoshoot, and dress change later, and these two lovebirds were out on the dance floor with their guests dancing the night away. Special moments from their love story were felt throughout the night, with ice cream from the University of Maryland Diary where they met, to a custom newspaper, and drink stirrers of their sweet pup. Through rain or shine, Lauren and Charlie never stopped smiling, and their love for each other shone brightest of all.
