There is just no looking through this bright and beautiful wedding without a smile on your face!
From Debbie of Eastern Shore Weddings & Events: We were so thrilled to have been a part of this lovely wedding at Kirkland Manor. Anna and Karl were wonderful and knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding day! They wanted their 200 guests to enjoy and fondly remember their “Southern Hamptons Wedding” on the Chesapeake Bay.
Because their families and friends were located in several different states, Anna and Karl choose St. Michaels where Anna’s family has spent so many wonderful vacations. Kirkland Manor was the perfect venue for a gorgeous wedding weekend full of events.
Our couple started the weekend with a welcome party Friday evening. Food trucks from DC lined the waterfront property serving Eastern Shore favorites from crab sliders, BBQ with all the fix in’s, and of course fresh oysters. Corn hole, croquet and yard games filled the lawn and entertained everyone way past sunset.
Their wedding day was magical. Loving family and friends gathered at Kirkland Manor as the bride and groom said their vows beneath a custom-made chupah on the river. Dinner and dancing followed under the spectacular tent, with an after party in the Manor House.
After a delicious brunch from Garden & Garnish on Sunday morning, guests, wedding party and the newlyweds returned to their routines but will never forget the weekend of waterfront activities that Anna, Karl and St. Michaels gave them!
