Colby & Patrick’s oceanfront wedding day is giving us all the summer vibes, and totally elevating what a waterfront wedding on the Shore can be! With the help of Alison to the Altar, who also designed the florals for this gorgeous day, their celebration was one for the books. We are loving everything about this, from the blossoming buds that somehow match the invitation suite perfectly, to the big, beautiful bow accenting Colby’s dress. You know we love a moment for the men too, and with Patrick sporting a classic black suit with a colorful floral pocket square, how could this day even get any prettier? Answer: It can’t! It’s as pretty as our prettiest dreams!
From the Alison, Alison to the Altar Planning & Florals:
Colby & Patrick (and Dolly) have fond memories of the beach, spending g time here in the summer. Colby spent her High School years on the shore. Their first look spot was where they got engaged! They had recently moved to Florida and wanted to have a non traditional wedding with their feet in the sand! For their reception they wanted to do “different” and fun. They are big lovers of bar food and hanging out. That’s how Micky Finns came about.
The reception was cocktail style with buttered food and one taco station. There was a candy bar set up as well. The last hour of their cocktail party had flat bread pizzas. The room was set up for mingling. The view is breathtaking with views of the inlet, the marina and sunsets to die for.
The day turned out better than anyone imagined and it is now a favorite spot I suggest to my couples.
