A Wedding Weekend with Wildly Native & Giving Back to Community

February 9, 2026

Possibly the best vendor match we’ve ever seen: Liz & Michael, who wanted their day to be timeless and stunning but also sustainable, and the Wildly Native team with their beautiful and locally sourced blooms! Did you know Wildly Native is actually a flower farm as well as a floral design team? These sweethearts, with their love for the Chesapeake Bay and our beautiful region, wanted their wedding day to give back to our community as well as celebrate their love. The Wildly Native pros were able to do just that. Not only did the floral design team outdo themselves with these breathtaking arrangements, but proved their green-thumbs with the incorporation of native trees to make guests feel as though they’d entered an enchanted forest, which were later donated back to community to support local restoration efforts! Liz & Michael are beautiful both inside and out, and their wedding weekend perfectly mirrored their love story and their love of community.

A pair of cream-colored sandals with large bows, two ring boxes holding wedding rings, and a small bouquet of flowers are arranged on a sunlit windowsill at Brittland Manor, capturing the charm of an Eastern Shore Wedding.

From the Bride – on wedding sustainability and giving back to our communities:

Michael and I met at KC’s Alley in Ambler, PA, and our relationship has always been about mutual growth and shared adventures. We both love spending time on the Chesapeake Bay, enjoying our morning coffee on the porch, and traveling with our dog, Finn. Our wedding was a reflection of these shared joys, blending elegance with the serene backdrop of the Eastern Shore.

Wildly Native Flower Farm not only created stunning floral arrangements but also incorporated native trees. Continuing our commitment to sustainability and community, we donated trees from our wedding to help restore the native tree population on the Eastern Shore, aligning with our values and the spirit of the region. Left over floral arrangements were donated to the Chestertown Hospital.
