Get ready to
fall in love with Kaitlin and Chris’s rustic farm wedding at Covered Bridge Inn. Their Delaware wedding is
full of warm autumn vibes and rustic, yet totally traditional decor. Take, for example, their ceremony backdrop, with real pumpkins and potted fall garden mums in bright yellow, crisp white, and deep red. You’ll see hay bales, lanterns, and antique wagon wheels leaning against wooden barrel pillars. If that isn’t
cute enough, everything is perfectly arranged within
the covered bridge that is the wedding venue’s namesake. The property boasts sprawling farmland views, and with the setting sun, the entire aesthetic is glorious. To round out this rustic + farm
wedding theme, an intimate reception followed in the venue’s historic farmhouse. Between the glass mug favors, warm fireplace, and banquet table setting, it all
looks so cozy!

From their photographer, Jessica of J. Nicole Photography:
Kaitlin and Chris had a small, romantic wedding on a Thursday evening in November.
These two had previously lived hundreds of miles apart ever since they started dating and they
were happy to finally start the next chapter in their lives hand-in-hand, under one roof.

My journey with My Eastern Shore Wedding began back in my high school and college years as a creative intern, where I absolutely fell in love with the boundless creativity the wedding industry offers. Over the years, I moved into roles as a community manager and Media Director, and each position deepened my appreciation for the artistry and joy that weddings bring. Now, as the Owner and Editor in Chief, I feel so honored to keep celebrating the beauty of the Eastern Shore, both as my home and as a stunning wedding venue. It's a joy to inspire others as they plan their dream days. For me, the true beauty of this work lies in being part of those moments of pure happiness and helping create lasting memories for couples on their special day.
