From high school to happily ever after, these sweethearts celebrated their love with a day full of nostalgic and neutral details. Decorated with timeless pinks, soft whites, and an amazing Eastern Shore Tent, Kendall’s childhood home set the stage for family and friends to enjoy this fabulous day. Kimberly Denn captured all of these details and more from Kendall and Casey’s classic ceremony and romantic reception. From the Planner:

Kendall and Casey first met as freshman at Saints Peter & Paul High School in their hometown of Easton, Maryland. They spent their high school years as friends and reconnected their junior year of college. And guess what? They began dating and quickly fell in love! Fast forward to a proposal and wedding planning!

Kendall and Casey knew that they wanted to celebrate their love in a place familiar and comfortable to them. So, it only made sense to host their ceremony in the chapel of their high school and have their reception at Kendall’s childhood home.

Arriving at the reception, guests were greeted by The Bubbly Bus from White Glove Rentals, which served champagne, beer and orange crushes. During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed canned beverages, oysters and shrimp artfully displayed in old row boats as they lounged by the outdoor fire pits and congregated at high top tables around the pool. Doug Segree played upbeat, acoustic music to get the party going. An impressive escort display created by Letters From Julianna allowed guests to find their seats..

Kendall wanted to have a neutral look with clean lines at her wedding. Keeping with that vision, were the pretty sailcloth tent provided by Eastern Shore Tents and Events and complimentary chairs, bars and tableware from White Glove Rentals. Monteray Farms designed unique arrangements that mixed both fresh and dried florals and provided an ethereal feel to the overall effect. Hidden throughout the details were small brass ducks, a nod to Casey and Kendall’s time spent on the Eastern Shore.

Dinner was served as a combination of family-style salads and stations, executed flawlessly by Blue Heron Catering. To kick off the party, Kendall and Casey chose an upbeat song for their first dance – Keith Urban’s “Love Somebody.” From there, The Doug Segree Band and DJ Leni Kern kept the party rocking. The night ended with everyone’s favorite late night bite, McDonald’s cheeseburgers.
