Ashley and Nolan’s wedding is equal parts elegance and care-free romance, with a dazzling dash of rose gold! Set at the historic Worsell Manor, these two tied the knot on a rainy spring day. If there’s one piece of advice we hear over and over from our brides, it’s to not sweat the small stuff and enjoy the day as it comes. These two perfectly capture that idea and it shows in every singe beautiful shot from B.O.B. Photography!
From Jillian of B.O.B. Photography: I am not sure how the stars aligned in a way that brought this amazing pair into my life, but I am sure glad they did. I met Ashley at a small little bridal show and we immediately hit it off. Not only is she as obsessed with rose gold as I am, but she just gives off this bubbly smile that makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. I learned that Ashley is a school teacher and Nolan is a Dover Police Officer–you couldn’t get a more adorable couple if you tried!
Last year when the day came to photograph her and Nolan’s engagement, it started raining. Which is good luck as the superstition goes! Fast forward exactly one year later to their wedding day and again, it started raining. But did these two let it get them down? Not even a little bit! We broke out the clear umbrellas and commenced making some epic portraits (including a first look that’ll bring a tear to your eye)!
Luckily Worsell Manor has a small barn attached to their reception barn that was the perfect setting for their rainy day vows. Everyone involved in the day was amazing. It is always a pleasure to work a wedding where the entire team pulls together to make it beautiful!
