Tell us a little bit about Cassie McElfish Travel.
– What made you decide to work in the wedding industry? What is your favorite part about it? –

I’m a travel advisor specializing in honeymoons and romantic getaways. What drew me to the wedding industry is the chance to help couples plan the start of their married life in a way that’s truly memorable. I love taking the stress out of planning their honeymoon so they can focus on enjoying this special time together.

What I love most about the wedding industry is being part of such a meaningful moment in a couple’s life. Helping them transition from their wedding day to a honeymoon that’s just as special – where they can relax, connect, and create memories together – is incredibly rewarding. I love building those personal relationships and crafting experiences that feel uniquely theirs.

– Are there any trends that you are loving in recent wedding seasons? –

Adventure Honeymoons – Couples are wanting more than just a beach – they want experiences they’ll remember forever, like hiking, snorkeling, or exploring off-the-beaten-path spots.

– Are there any trends that you are expecting to see in upcoming wedding seasons? –

I’m seeing honeymoons becoming a bigger part of the wedding planning process itself. Couples are thinking about their trips earlier and making them a key part of the celebration. With smaller weddings and elopements on the rise, many are planning multi-destination trips filled with personalized activities and unforgettable experiences that make their honeymoon just as memorable as the wedding day.

– What would you say are the top 3 things couples should consider when looking for a wedding vendor? –

When choosing a honeymoon destination, I usually suggest couples focus on three things. First, their travel style – do they want adventure, relaxation, culture, or a mix of everything? Second, the timing and logistics, like travel time, season, and budget, to ensure the trip works well for them. And finally, the experiences and memories they want to create – picking a destination that offers meaningful, unforgettable moments is what makes a honeymoon truly special.

– What do you think is the best thing about the array of options that you can potentially offer a couple? –

My services are unique because every itinerary I create is completely personalized. I take the time to get to know each couple – their interests, travel style, and vision for their honeymoon – so every detail is tailored just for them. From picking the perfect resort to planning unforgettable experiences, I craft trips that are truly one-of-a-kind.

– What is the most important thing you would like couples to know about your service? –

The most important thing I want couples to know is that every honeymoon I plan is completely personalized. After all the planning and excitement of the wedding, there’s nothing better than having a trip designed just for them. My goal is to make it unforgettable and perfectly tailored to who they are as a couple.
