Between the bright blooms and glowing smiles, a few showers couldn’t dampen this celebration. Tricia and Paul tied the knot at The Covered Bridge Inn in Lewes, Delaware, surrounded by acres of scenic farmland and a restored historic barn. For a wet weather forecast, we’re loving the look of a clear umbrellas–especially when it comes with an extra sprinkle of luck!
From J. Nicole Photography: Driving to the venue the day of their wedding, the weather was literally perfect: blue skies but hazy so the light was filtered and soft. Come time for the ceremony, clouds rolled in and about halfway through it, rain started to fall. But, they were able to get it finished up just in time!
Paul and Tricia met October 8th, 2015. He surfed with the boyfriend of a nurse Tricia worked with and would occasionally visit their house. She thought he had a great smile and was very active, so she asked if Tricia would be interested in meeting him. They met at Arenas in Rehoboth and everything she said about him was true! Tricia loved his blue eyes, his smile, and his passion for surfing and other sports. The two got engaged on the same day they met 2 years later. Paul and Tricia went on trip to Peru where they hiked the Salkantey Trek to Macchu Picchu. They were up on Huayna Picchu which overlooks Macchu Picchu when he dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. Tricia was completely surprised!
