News from Cara… Wedding season is in full swing and things have been a bit crazy exciting around here! As you know, we love to get out and visit with our vendors so last week I called Tunie at Studio 2 Salon in downtown Easton and they graciously agreed to treat me to the total “bridal experience”!
Stylist Kate McGuire, and the Studio 2 team made me feel right at home from the moment I stepped inside. Owners John and Sharon renovated a charming old Victorian home, and created a bright and cheery atmosphere where you can sit back and let the artists work their magic. From cuts, colors and up-dos, to facials and manicures, their team of professionals have the tools and the skills to make you look and feel your best on your wedding day.
After consulting with Kate, I knew I was in good hands! She decided on a sophisticated yet soft and romantic pin-back with flowing curls, I loved it! I have A LOT of hair (and struggle to tame it on a daily basis!) so it was great to have a new, polished look. She finished it off with a cute jeweled hairpin and then we we’re on to makeup!
I was personally unfamiliar with airbrush makeup so I was curious to see what the buzz was all about. Kate mixed a custom shade to match my skin tone and used the compressor to perfectly even out my complexion and add contour.
The wonderful thing about Studio 2 is that they are the total package! You and your girls can bond, relax and be pampered. With the salon to yourselves (part of their wedding package), they encourage you to feel at home. Bring champagne and snacks and take the time to catch up before the whirlwind of activity that is the wedding day. We suggest, while you’re waiting for your day of pampering, that you take a seat outside on their upper deck or sweet little front porch and savor those precious moments with family and close friends.
