The Tidewater Inn Presents: The Gold Room Garden and The Skipjack Bar
The iconic Tidewater Inn, a premiere Eastern Shore event destination,has
announced its new indoor/outdoor wedding and event venues-‐ The Gold Room Garden and The Skipjack Bar! Both are designed to enhance and expand the Inn’s current event facilities.
For couples, the most exciting new addition is The Gold Room Garden. Tidewater describes this beautiful new space as a distinctive, elegant outdoor event area that compliments the formal Gold Ballroom which underwent a complete renovation and re-‐opened in 2009.
The Gold Room Garden features a solid brick-‐walled courtyard with a custom sailcloth canopy, exposed curved wood beams, two gas fireplaces, bistro-‐style lighting, and built-‐in bar.It’s perfect for private, intimate celebrations! As beautiful as this room is, it’s an open canvas for brides to add personalize with their special touches.Be it lighting the room completely by candlelight, adorning the mantels with fresh flowers, or “ribboning” the chairs with silk, the room is yours to design with your unique vision.
The newly built Skipjack Bar, located in the dining room of Hunter’s Tavern,encourages visitors to view beautiful downtown Easton while enjoying special wine and food features. This room is perfect on its own for small weekday wedding celebrations and social events. And the new, custom-‐built bar adds its own convenience and panache to the space, too.
In addition to these exciting renovations,enhancements to the décor of the guest rooms will be completed in time for this year’s wedding season. Guests will enjoy luxurious bed linens, improved bathroom amenities, along with artwork by renowned Eastern Shore photographer, Dave Harp.
