The ladies of MyEasternShoreWedding stopped into Mabel’s Bakery in downtown Easton today to see what heavenly treats they had to offer this week. Shop owners Vicki Sump and Dee Roe are granddaughters of the bakery’s namesake, Mabel, and we love that they have continued to satisfy the sweet tooth of our little town since 2011. Vicki and Dee have drawn crowds into their cute bakery shop with yummy family recipes like their famous Chocolate Rum Cake—and you know we LOVE chocolate! Add rum + cake = heavenly for sure. The shop is a local favorite, offering a fresh selection of baked treats daily and a warm, friendly spot to sit and savor them all.
In the spirit of Valentines Day, all of Mabel’s cupcakes are $2.00, and come in an assortment of flavors and colors that are sure to set your love’s heart aflutter. They also have decadent chocolate covered (fresh) strawberries, heart-shaped red velvet cupcakes drizzled in chocolate ganache, and a variety of delectable cakes that are perfect to share with that special someone. The shop is decorated in the spirit of the holiday and will definitely put you in the mood for love! Stop in and grab a treat to-go or make it a date and stay for a cup of coffee with your sweetie.
