She Loves Me, She Loves Me Knot!

We love to get out of the office and walk around our lovely little town. As many of you know, MyEasternShoreWeddings’ office is located in the beautiful downtown historic district of Easton. So any chance to be out and about is sweet; and visiting one of our vendors is even better! We did just that on the last day of April when we went to visit The Bartlett Pear Inn, specifically their mixologist/bartender Justin Peregoy. Drinks in the afternoon in the middle of the week may not be the best idea, but we were on a mission! Rewind one week to an anxious phone call. We needed to find a unique item in the pantone color of “Violet Tulip” for an article in our e-magazine, Inspired!. We decided on a wedding cocktail and we knew if anybody could create it, it would be one of the experienced bartenders at The Pear. Justin took our call and decided to take the challenge…though he did confess he had never made a drink for the purpose of its color!

Armed with our umbrellas (April showers!), we walked over and met Justin at his bar. He told us that he couldn’t get the color exactly right with drinks that he knew of, so he created one! The new drink “She Loves Me, She Loves Me Knot” was not only the perfect shade of Violet Tulip (it even had violet flower petals in the drink!), it tasted like a perfectly sweetened creamsicle. We loved it!

So, the next time you take a stroll in downtown Easton, stop in at the Bartlett Pear and order our new beautiful drink. You might just find yourself ordering another one! We did!
