Born and raised on the eastern shore Ashley Sherwood grew up loving and dreaming of working with florals. In 2013 that dream came true and Sherwood Florist was born. Ashley has been creating her beautiful floral designs since 2013 utilizing both seasonal and local grown flowers.
We at Sherwood Florist are known for our ability to translate ideas to something truly unique and special with perfect color pairings and fun textures. Down to earth, whimsical, classic and bohemian are just a few of our many styles that showcase abilities. We pride ourselves on working closely with the Bride throughout the whole process until the day of celebration. Sherwood florist understands that every bride has a different budget and we are happy to work within your specifications whatever they may be. Another great service that we can offer you is handmade floral arches, driftwood accents and many other both traditional and of the moment ideas.

“I’m so glad I chose Ashley to flower my wedding. From the very beginning she made sure she thoroughly understood my design concept in order to deliver exactly what I wanted. And she did just that! I was one of those obnoxious brides that kept adding pictures to Pinterest boards and attaching new images to emails well after our contract had been drafted and she never once complained or made me feel like the nuisance I knew I was being. She worked closely with me and my wedding planner over several months to create the perfect design for our August wedding at a historic waterfront estate on the Eastern Shore. We brought her ideas and a couple photos, and she quickly understood and took it from there. She really knows her stuff! To top it off she was a great communicator, prompt with email, and endlessly patient when we made multiple revisions to the design. On the day of our wedding I was completely blown away: the bouquets and centerpieces were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. They were so unique and complemented the rest of our décor perfectly. Ashley even incorporated unique elements into our centerpieces like plums, apricots, and grapes–our guests were talking about them all night!
